With the Teams app, you can send content to your displays without even logging into Lumicast. Easily synchronise important messages to all of your displays. The app will display messages as well as the images in the message.
Prerequisites
In order to give Lumicast permission to read your Teams channel messages, your Microsoft administrator must give the Lumicast app permission to do so. If this is not done, connecting your Microsoft account will not work.
The Microsoft administrator of your organisation has to open the following consent screen and approve the Lumicast app. The screen that opens will show exactly what this action will allow Lumicast to do on behalf of users that connect their account: https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/adminconsent?client_id=a81de408-4872-49f9-8cfb-d803a9b2128a.
Creating a Microsoft Teams app

- Select the Teams channel you want to show messages from.
- Finish the app by clicking βCreate appβ
Data update frequency
Lumicast checks your Teams data every five minutes. If you donβt see a new message that you just added, the reason could be that we have not picked it up yet. Please wait at least five minutes.
